In the heart of the Montenegrin mountain Bjelasica, nestled between the Biogradska Gora National Park, the Moraća Mountains, and Komovi, lies Kolašin Valleys, the first hotel-residential complex on Montenegro’s ski slopes. With this winter season, Kolašin Valleys opens the doors of its first hotel, Swissotel Resort Kolašin, at an altitude ranging from 1450 to 1600 meters. This mountain resort, with 42km of current ski trails, plans to expand to an impressive 141 kilometers in the next 5-7 years.

Ecosing, a globally renowned Canadian ski resort planning studio, is behind the project that will bring four hotels with 317 units in the next three years, along with an additional six properties in the following years, totaling over 700 accommodation units. Additionally, the development includes plans for 30 exclusive mountain houses (chalets), restaurants, bars, wellness, and spa centers.

Kolašin Valleys encompasses two connected ski villages: 1450 Nest and K16 Peak, both ski-in/ski-out destinations with all necessary amenities such as shops, pharmacies, restaurants, boutiques, and a polyclinic. Further development over the next five years includes the construction of 16 hotels, seven apartment buildings, and 73 mountain houses (chalets).
